Should I perform a patch test with XP colour?

Always perform a patch test 48 hours prior to colouring your hair with XP. Using your chosen XP colour and developer range, mix a small amount with a 1:1 ratio and apply behind your ear lobe with a cotton bud whilst wearing gloves. If you experience redness/itchiness as a result of the patch test, or have abrasion on your scalp, do not proceed with using XP colour.
